Before & After School Program

Program Description

At Early Explorers Playschool, we created our Before & After School Programs for children in grades K-5 to enjoy an array of fun, exciting, and educational activities.

 

Our Before & After School Program is designed to:

  • Foster and nurture the development of the whole child.
  • Create and implement a schedule based on child development needs.
  • Deliver stimulating and fun programs including; Spanish classes, homework time, and other activities
  • Offer transportation and snacks (morning and afternoon). 
  • Provide after school care and full day child care on teacher workdays and other school closings (spring break, intersession, etc...)

 

Schedule

Program Times

  • Before School  Program    7:00 - 8:30 AM
  • After School Program    3:30 - 6:00 PM
  • Before & After School Program  7:00 - 8:30 AM/ 3:30 - 6:00 PM
  • Full Day Child Care (available on teacher workdays and other school closings) 
    7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Program Days

  • 5 Days: Monday- Friday

 

Drop Off/ Pick-up Policies

Morning Program Children should be dropped off no later than 8:15 AM.
Afternoon Program Children must be picked up by 6:00 pm.

Late fees will be charged for any child who has not been picked up from the center by 6:00 pm.

 

Transportation Policy

We provide transportation to and from 11 schools within the Durham and Chapel Hill area.  Contact us for further information.

 


School Year

Our before and after school program is available based on the school year which runs from July / August through June.  Summer camp options are available during the summer months (June through August).
